Hello there! I'm Anthony! I occasionally walk into design communities on proboards, and have been since circa 2005. I'm 22, and study graphic design at Sam Houston State University.
I've also owned, maintained, and moderated countless forums in my time on proboards but I still have no idea what in the world v5 is about and why PB decided to make it vastly different from v4. Anyway, here are some forums I've created: Hyper Drive Studios from 05-06, and Writhed Studios (formerly Writhed Resources) from 07-11. Neither achieved too much success in terms of activity, but WS still obtains new members somehow. Probably because people like free skins and such. LOL
What drove me to your little forum here is the fact that it's a themed graphics board, something I've never seen done before. Also, I'm a fan of HP so that definitely makes this site more interesting than most.
Anyway, I'll quit yapping! Thanks for letting me be here!
Hello i am Lee. I do graphics design a lot with GIMP. Lik you many of my boards never went in to much activity XD. I also love making sites and there is not actually much of a difference between pb v4 and 5 v5 is just easier to make skins on.
If making skins is easier with v5 then maybe I'll give it a go. Lots of my friends used to use GIMP when they were designers. It's probably my favorite Photoshop alternative.
Welcome to Diagon Alley, a Harry Potter themed graphics, coding, and writing community. We are very friendly and we all love to make friends. We mainly focus on graphics which is our reason for having graphic galleries but as you see we do not have any other galleries? Why do you ask? Our reason is because we want to be different. We want to be an all resource site but not an all resource site with all resource galleries. It is not much of a problem because you can still earn promotions by showing what you have done in your challenges and we can promote you by what you have. We hope you enjoy it here at Diagon Alley and have the best of fun!
